Gallery East is much more than an art gallery. It is the fulfillment of a
dream. When Solveig Lark established Gallery East in 1971, she envisioned a gallery
that would cultivate enthusiasm for the arts. Gallery East opened as the
area's first fine art gallery. Today, it is proud to be located in the heart of a
highly acclaimed and growing art community.

Over the years,
Gallery East has promoted and participated in numerous community projects related to the
arts, including art education programs, art scholarships for high school students, and
annual art auction events to support various community service organizations.
Solveig Lark's vision of the future anticipates many more
exciting developments ahead.
