Born in Goshen, Indiana, and now residing in Loveland, Colorado,
Tony Hochstetler is a sculptor of animals - more particularly a sculptor of reptiles,
amphibians, insects, birds, and marine life. He has won many awards, including
various awards from the Society of Animal Artists - the award of Excellence (won twice)
and the Whittington Memorial Award. Other awards include the Beddi-Makky Foundry
award presented by the National Sculpture Society, and a Purchase award from the Kentucky
National Art and Wildlife Exhibit.

Most recently his work
has been exhibited with the Annual Artists of America Show, National Academy of Design,
National Sculpture Society's "Centennial Exhibition", Society of Animal Artists,
Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum plus various other shows. He has been included in
the Society of Animal Artists National Museum Tour for three consecutive years.
Mr. Hochstetler's work is featured in many major collections, including the Denver
Zoological Gardens, Wichita Art Museum, John Morris: World Wildlife Museum, Loveland's
Benson Park Sculpture Garden, H.Y. Jung Museum of Bronze Sculpture, Bass Pro Museum, the
Hudson Corporation, M. Ross Mason Corporation, and the collection of President and Mrs.
George Bush.
Tony is a member of both the National Sculpture Society and Society of Animal
Artists.
